Turasona Toolbox
I had an idea. Then I built the thing.
I created the Turasona Toolbox to bring everyday planning into one connected experience—with practical tools, thoughtful design, and a little attitude.
Built for my lifestyle brand, Turasona, the project took me from product concept through launch. I led the strategy, identity, UX, and copy, using AI-assisted development to turn that vision into a working web application.

The challenge
Adult life has a lot of open tabs.
Bills, appointments, job applications, home projects, meals, goals. I wanted to bring those overlapping responsibilities into an experience that felt manageable and distinctly Turasona.
The challenge was balancing breadth with simplicity: giving each planner useful functionality while keeping navigation familiar and the brand’s outspoken personality clear throughout.
The strategy
Give the chaos some structure.
I organized the core product around six areas—life, money, career, home, food, and goals—with a separate wedding planner extending the collection.
Shared navigation and recurring interface patterns connect the tools, so moving between them doesn’t require learning a different system. I also shaped the journey around the app: how someone discovers it, explores the demo, purchases, and activates access.
That meant thinking through the entire experience, from first impression to everyday use.
The creative direction
Useful. With an attitude.
“Get Your Sh*t Together” and “Pay Your Damn Bills” set the tone. Details such as “Overdue-ish” carry that voice into the interface.
I balanced the candid copy with expressive typography, botanical imagery, and a restrained lavender, aqua, and green palette. Clear hierarchy and generous space give the personality room without overwhelming the task.
Every choice had a job: make the product recognizable, make the next action understandable, and give people a reason to return.

The build
Human direction. AI-assisted execution.
I used AI-assisted development to expand what I could deliver as an independent designer, translating creative intent into specific requirements for layout, functionality, and behavior.
I defined features, reviewed implementations, identified problems, and directed revisions. The work extended into saved user data, account access, purchase activation, and the connection to the storefront.
AI supported implementation and troubleshooting. I owned the product decisions, creative standards, and judgment about what needed another pass.
The refinement
The details had to work, too.
As the product grew, I refined mobile layouts, navigation, typography, imagery, and controls. Crowded screens needed breathing room. New features needed to fit the existing structure. Access and saving flows needed attention alongside the visuals.
The process pushed me beyond designing individual screens into taking responsibility for how the experience worked as a whole.
The outcome
A brand people can actually use.
The Toolbox launched as a live digital product under Turasona, with an interactive demo and a purchase path through Etsy.
It demonstrates how I connect creative direction with product thinking and hands-on execution: defining an opportunity, building a distinctive brand, and carrying both through to a functional experience.
